DO NOT TRUST THEM! This dealership is the absolute worst place you could consider buying or servicing your car at. I leased a car from another dealer despite trying my best to work out a deal here. They will nickel and dime you for every last cent. Anyways, leased a car from another dealer. Came here to get 1 quart of oil as my car notified me it was low and that it needed 1 quart. The car is under warranty and I've been to TWO other dealers who have happily topped off the oil. Not Santa Monica BMW though. They insisted I have to pay for the oil regardless of my warranty and complimentary maintenance plan. These guys are a fairly low volume dealership so it's expected. But I would NEVER waste my time purchasing a car from them especially considering their post-sales support. There are plenty of other dealerships that will give you a better deal and honor BMWs maintenance plan.



Exceptional service, expedited my delivery time and pick up was flawless. Santa Monica BMW has excellent communication technology that kept me up to date while I was at work. They fixed my problem and followed up. Service was great as the BMW machine

This was an awful experience. Went in for an oil change, even had an appointment, yet still took all day. Dropped the car off at 9:30am, was assured that the car would be ready by 3p. At 3:30, had not heard from them so I had to call and hunt them down. They again assured me that it would be ready by 4:30. At 5p when I still had not heard from them, I went in person and waited there. That is when they started working on my car. Very disappointed by this experience. They did nothing to apologize or even acknowledge that I wasted an entire weekday off from work for a simple (overpriced) oil change. Awful customer service. Expected much more from a BMW dealer service in Santa Monica.

Brought my car for service left with items missing from the car. Called several times and no help at all from the staff. Keep transferred to voicemail even though the staff and both managers on site ( how convenient for them) then a manager returns my call stating the staff would not remove anything from the car as there is no need for them to do so even though I’m sure it was when the car was dropped off. Bad customer service and carelessness management and staff.

Manfred was my service advisor and was extremely rude and not helpful. He told me he would call and never did, and every time I called it went straight to voicemail. He then just decided to change my tire without confirming with me, and was very rude when I went to pick up my car and question why there was no communication

I just spoke with Bill in the parts department and I was left speechless. Reason being, I asked Bill for pricing and a part number for my headrest and not only did he refused to give me the part number because according to him, he "would have to produce a work order." Bill also quoted me OVER A $1,000 for a passenger headrest. I literally called a different dealership a minute after and I was quoted $545 dollars for the same part and I was also given the part number without any "work order." If I were you, I would call other dealerships near Los Angeles to compare prices so you can see for yourself. Hope this helps.
