I went into Bill Gatton already sad and a little frustrated from Wallace Used cars… they definitely tried to screw me over and i drive two hours from home and It was the worst experience at Wallace. As soon as I got out at Bill Gatton, Ernesto greeted us with a big smile, already making me feel better… we told him the situation and all the details… he immediately started asking me questions of what I liked or didn’t like… then showed me some options in my price range. I test drive two cars and loved both of them. When I tell you Ernesto was the BEST car salesman there is, I mean that. I’ve already promised to visit and bring treats back! Ernesto was super funny and honest! He made the wait time for paperwork and maintenance and such fly by!!!! I will ALWAYS go back and buy a car from Ernesto at Bill Gatton! BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!

Be very very careful buying a used vehicle here. I did not insist on it being washed and the hood was covered with dirt. The rest looked good so I did not think to push for it to be cleaned. The next day the rain washed the dirt away and the hood and trunk lid had many severe scratches. They knew they were there and had tried to buff them away which did not work. The autobody shop I took it to recommended trying to wet sand then buff but it may need to be painted for $800. The dealer claimed they could wet sand but turns out they could only buff and offered to put touch up paint along the scratches which of course would look goofy. So I am back to taking the car, a 2020 with 26k miles and a beautiful paint job, back to the body shop to be fixed at my expense. A rookie mistake, just leaving this as a reminder to other shoppers--buyer beware, do not be hasty, make sure the car is clean and look it over very well or have a mechanic and body shop inspect it because once you sign, it will be out of your pocket to fix it. Based on their reply, you can see how they are. Instead of spending $700 to fix the situation as they should have and have a 5 star review and a loyal customer, they chose instead to say you should look very carefully at the cars we sell, too bad. So, every person I can stop from going to them will cost them thousands in sales revenue. Pretty clever of them 😉

I found a car online at Johnson City Acura and called them late one evening and got Worth on the line. He took the time as he was leaving for the day to go look the car over for me and gave me a very accurate description. I rode out the next day and meet Steve the salesman, test drove the car and traded. It was a very good experience and would recommend them to anyone needing a new or used car!! Bought a Audi while it was being detailed they busted the windshield. They replaced it with one with a hairline crack and never put my rear mirror on. My wife was the one to pick up the car so she just happen not to make sure the window was in good standards. When asking are salesman Chris about the mirror he told her just bring it back some other time and they'd take care of it. Now when I call and ask for Chris it's always can I take a message and he call you back and they never do.
