TLDR- I've bought lots of new cars, and this was the best purchase experience I've ever had. See Bo or Antoine. In May, I anxiously ordered my first ever electric vehicle, a 2022 BMW i4. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by Bo, who answered all of my questions. He helped me solidify my decision without pressuring or any of that nonsense. In fact, he very objectively laid out a few potential factors I might want to consider before going electric. He earned my trust, and I placed the order for my bespoke i4 that afternoon. I left with the expectation that I would be receiving my newly built i4 no sooner than December. Fast forward to late June, not even two full months later - I get a call from Bo notifying me that my new i4 is on a boat, and that I should have it within a week. He went ahead and helped me get all of the paperwork and financing arranged in hopes that delivery would be smooth, as I had a two week long trip to Europe scheduled for very early July. I called the dealership on the day my new i4 arrived in Athens, but Bo was out. I was lucky enough to have spoken with Antoine. Even though he wasn't my sales advisor, he bent over backward to help get my car PDC'ed and charged so that I could take delivery the next day. He helped me confirm that my financing was locked into June's interest rate before the July increase. He treated me as if he was going to be receiving commission for the sale, and he acted as an excellent partner to Bo, my sales advisor. On the next day, I arrived to take delivery. My new i4 was sitting up front, fully charged, shining in the sun, and with the detailer making final checks that it was perfect. I found a flawless brand new vehicle waiting on me, and I was in and out within an hour. The manager came outside, shook my hand, and thanked me personally for my business. Once the sale was complete, Bo accompanied me outside and began helping me get all of thr iDrive configured, and he provided "just enough" help. He would've gladly spent the rest of the day with me if I'd needed him to, but he was completely understanding and respectful when I told him that I'm technologically adventurous and that I would take joy in working through the remaining configuration in my garage. Superb follow up from the dealership during the first few weeks of ownership, and very quick response to the two questions I've had since. I'm delighted with my new i4, and I feel like Athens BMW is my partner, should I ever have an issue with it. I trade cars every 3 years or 40k miles, and I won't bother going anywhere other than Athens BMW when it's time for my next purchase.

Another phenomenal experience with Athens BMW. I have been going here for about two years and typically see Shawn Williams. I cannot express enough how great Shawn and this dealership genuinely are. Shawn always ensures that I get everything done in a timely manner and that I have the smoothest experience possible when dropping off my car. Additionally, I appreciate that when I do have something wrong, they send me videos explaining specifically what went wrong with my vehicle. Overall it is a great environment and is undoubtedly one of the best dealerships I have been to.

I just bought a barely used Jeep Gladiator from Athens BMW and am completely satisfied with my purchase. I’m located out of state 5 hours away and was able to work with Barry and negotiate a final price. Jonas was very helpful in making sure the paperwork was ready to go upon my arrival. I had the pleasure of working with Barry Jones for a car purchase. I was an out of state customer 3 1/2 hours away and could not easily drop by BMW Athens to see the vehicle in person. As an out of state buyer, I had several questions/concerns and Barry was able to ease my mind to my satisfaction in a timely fashion as he was very knowledgeable of the vehicle. On the day of purchase, Barry had the vehicle already detailed and ready for a test drive. Barry provided great hospitality and the buying experience was great. I’ve been to just about all of the BMW dealerships in the metro ATL area and I found this group to have the best customer service out of all of them as well as being reasonably priced. They were attentive, welcoming, and best of all they were efficient. Zach Harper did a great job setting me up with an appointment and getting me in and out in less time than anticipated with great customer service. Thanks Zach and Athens BMW. Keep up the great job.

I bought an older model BMW Z5 turbo diesel. Had it a month before the oil pump went out. BMW of Athens was the closest dealership to me. After about a month, they fixed it. I had paid via text, so the process of picking it up was easy. What I didn't like was the fact that the Service Advisor I was dealing with really did't provide the answers I was looking for early on. So, I contacted the GM. I'm a big communication guy, so I don't really care if my car was stuck at the dealership for six months...just let me know and provide me with professional communications, that's all I asked. The Service Advisor eventually improved and once I told him I needed a loaner, he took care of it. The oil pump fix ended up costing less than they quoted me...which was a bonus. They cleaned the vehicle and the dealership provided my two teen daughters with snacks while we were there. I would definitely return if my vehicle had issues.

Even though I drove 2 hours to Athens with a pre-arranged appointment, they did not have the car I wanted to test drive on the lot, and my second choice was not ready. The advisor I dealt with over emails was busy so they threw me onto another advisor who had no idea about what I wanted or the numbers I was given over emails and had no customer service skills. To top it off, I replied to the manager's email for feedback and the email was completely ignored, and never even received an apology. The only good client advisor there is Demarcus and everyone else should take some customer service skill lessons from him. Finally, I was asked about extending the warranty on the vehicle I bought, and I agreed, but I was never informed they added $1700 to my loan for the maintenance agreement, which I was never asked if I wanted or explained what it was. Very unprofessional and I will never return to this BMW again.
